Before, whenever I came across a chocolate bar, there was no way I could resist. That’s why I always had to struggle against putting on extra weight. With Golden Peanut psyllium husk, I have finally found a way to stay as slim as I am now. I use it in my muesli every morning. Because of its high fibre content, the psyllium muesli keeps me full for a long time. And the psyllium muesli leaves me so satisfied that I can easily resist the temptation of sweet snacks.

That fact is that the gut needs a sufficient amount of fibre every day in order to stay healthy. According to our calculations, our diet still remains below the expert recommendations for daily fibre intake. Chocolates with psyllium

1-2 tablespoons Golden Peanut psyllium husk or whole psyllium seeds
150 g chocolate spread
150 g plain nougat
50-100 g Golden Peanut organic almond flour
150 g hazelnut brittle

Melt the nougat slowly in a double boiler, then gradually mix in the chocolate spread and nut flour. Stir to combine and add a few drops of water if necessary. Chill the chocolate mixture in the refrigerator until it is firm enough to handle. Shape into small chocolate balls and roll them quickly in a mixture of hazelnut brittle and psyllium husk so that it sticks to the chocolates. Then place the balls on a plate and put them in the refrigerator to chill and keep cool. Yield: around 16 balls (25 g each).
